4. Fitting the solar blanket is relatively easy, it is important to leave the Blanket over the pool for 2 weeks before cutting your final trim.

5. Folded or rolled up Blankets should be protected from sunlight not even for a short period. Also avoid putting on hot decks. Avoid any heat and maximum storage recommend temperature is 35° C.
6. Do not drag the Blanket as the bubbleswill be prone to damage from sharp corners and abrasive force.
7. Never leave it on the lawn, the heating capability will burn the loan within an hour.
8. High water temperature above 30°C may shorten the life of the solar pool blanket and can incidentally a painted pool. Remove blanket in summer when water temperature rise above 30°C and store in a shaded area.
9. Most dirt and leaves can be hosed off the floating blanket directly into your pull skimmer. Run the circulation pump during such hosing to send minute debris into the skimmer and through the filter instead of into pull. If necessary empty the leaf basket or trap after hosing. Water and soft brush is all what's required to remove heavier Grime and Algae from the Blanket. CLEAN BLANKETS ALLOW FOR MAXIMUM SOLAR ENERGY HEATING
10. After cleaning roll up blanket and storage temperature must be below 35-°C perhaps suspended fromgarage roof or in a large plastic bag under the house. Allow the Blanket to dry completely for longer storage to prevent mildew from forming from water left however the mildew won't damage the Blanket.
The blanket will help maintain normal chlorine levels. Fixed dosing can result in higher than normal concentrations and this may reduce the life expectancy of the Solar Pool Blanket if unchecked, use your chlorine test kit regularly.
